General Safety Information

• Intended Use: The MACS Matchmaker is for research use only.
• User Manual: Before using the MACS Matchmaker, read the chapter Important safety information and all other information contained in the user manual.
• Servicing: Installation of the MACS Matchmaker must be performed by authorized Miltenyi Biotec service providers. Servicing and repair must be performed by Miltenyi Biotec certified and qualified service personnel.
• Electrical Safety: The instrument is a protection class I device. To entirely disconnect the instrument from the power supply, unplug the power cable.
• Biological/Chemical Safety: All biological material must be considered potentially infectious. Users must wear personal protective equipment (such as gloves, safety glasses, etc.). Decontaminate the instrument after processing hazardous or potentially infectious material.
• Laser Safety: The instrument is equipped with a Class 3B laser product. Do not stare into the laser beam.
